The company’s broad product range includes a South Tyrolean apple tea and a magic mountain infusion of organic South Tyrolean herbs. These creations help to strengthen local production cycles, and their high quality level has earned them the South Tyrolean seal of quality.
Apples make up a full 25 percent of the Apples from South Tyrol Fruit Infusion. They are cultivated and harvested in line with strict quality criteria by the Consortium of South Tyrolean Fruit Growers’ Co-operatives (VOG). These are what gives the infusion its sweet, fruity flavour.
The Magic Mountain Herbal Tea consists exclusively of herbs with the South Tyrolean seal of quality, which are organically grown by South Tyrolean farmer Hansjörg Oberdörfer on his estate. The climate here, at an altitude of over 1,100 metres, provides perfect conditions for the herbs to develop a particularly intense aroma.
Peter’s TeaHouse wants to help lift superior quality local products out of their niche. “We are especially delighted when guests who have come to South Tyrol on holiday and tried our infusions at their hotel’s breakfast buffet then later become customers of our web store”, says Managing Director Alexander Schick.
In future, the popular brand will remain committed to supporting organic cultivation and regional producers, and therefore plans to increase its share of organically grown infusions. What is more, thanks to stipulations in the in-house sustainability strategy at Peter’s TeaHouse, its entire production chain will be CO2 neutral from 2030 onwards.
